2020 second place jury award

berkshire museum: art of the hills exhibit

Jurors Amy Myers and Seung Lee curated 531 works of art submitted by 211 local artists, with 78 works finally selected from 64 artists.

On November 6, 2020, they announced their selections for First, Second and two Honorable Mention awards, and ‘Gravedigger’ was awarded second place.

In recognition for this award, the museum will be offering Sally a solo exhibition in 2021.

NATURE'S BEST international PHOTOGRAPHY awards


The video 'Ambush in the Pantanal,' taken by Sally Eagle, was selected as the winning video for the 2014 Windland Smith Rice International Awards by Nature’s Best Photography.  It was on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. from October 2015 through August 2016.

Three of Sally Eagle's iceberg images taken in the Antarctic finished as semifinalists in the 2010 International Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest, sponsored by BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Natural History Museum in London, England.

2009 highly honored - birds

NATURE'S BEST international PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDs

Dan Mead's photograph of ostriches climbing a sand dune in Namibia was selected from over 25,000 entries to the Windland Smith Rice International Awards competition for Nature's Best Photography for 2009. It was on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History for the 2009 awards exhibit.
