  Two months of backpacking - Our first Himalayan adventure

In 1980, we ventured to Nepal and embarked on two major treks: the first to Kala Patar – a 29-day trip towards Mount Everest, and the second to the Annapurna Sanctuary – a 19-day trip. For the first trip we had a guide and porter, and for the second we chose to go by ourselves.

Because this trip was pre-digital photography, we were constrained by the amount of film we could carry with us, basically limited to six images a day. To date we have only scanned the images in this album for digital viewing.
